Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Hunterdon Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans, including patient positioning, scanner setup, radiation exposure technique, image acquisition, and post-processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all National Patient Safety Goals and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Utilize sterile technique and perform venipuncture and vascular access procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient history and symptoms.
  • Review orders, explain procedures, and provide excellent patient satisfaction.
  • Assist physicians in the performance of invasive and/or interventional CT procedures.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized department, ensuring adequate supply inventory.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • ARRT Registry in Radiography or registry-eligible and NJDEP X-ray License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Preferred: CT Registry certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scientific knowledge and technical skills to effectively interact with patients and provide quality care.
