Computed Tomography Technologist

**Job Summary**

At Hunterdon Health Care System, we are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all computed tomography examinations that create the images needed for diagnosis.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Perform CT scans, including patient positioning, scanner set-up, radiation exposure technique, image acquisition and post-processing.
• Follow all National Patient Safety Goals.
• Utilize sterile technique and perform venipuncture and vascular access.
• Provide recordkeeping of patient history and symptoms.
• Review orders, explain procedure, answer questions and practice the principles of patient satisfaction.
• Assist physician in the performance of invasive and/or interventional CT procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of department and assure adequate supply inventory.

**Qualifications**

• Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1-2 years CT experience.
• License, Registry or Certification: ARRT Registry in Radiography or registry-eligible and NJDEP Xray License. Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

**Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities**

• Must have scientific CT Scan knowledge and technical skills to effectively interact with all patients to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.
