About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at CoStar Group. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks and technologies.
  • Promote consistent architecture patterns for design and development within and across Homes development teams.
  • Craft elegant and extensible solutions, at scale, to deliver features that people interact with and rely on every day.
  • Collaborate closely with other software engineers across the organization to achieve common goals.
  • Advocate standards-driven technology to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university.
  • At least 5 years of production development experience with React or Angular in TypeScript or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of C#.Net (or.Net Core) and experience with relational database design (MS SQL or MySQL).
  • Demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platforms.
  • Experience with unit, performance, and automation testing.
  • Deep understanding of what drives the business for which you are building software.
  • Ability to take an active role in mentoring developers and building consensus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS S3, SQS, Dynamo, ElastiCache, and Datadog.
