Overview:
Financial Operations Manager - Manufacturing Sector - Siloam Springs, AR (Relocation Assistance Available)
The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing key financial functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory oversight. This role involves maintaining precise internal financial documentation, generating detailed reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The manager will also handle payroll processing and collections, guiding strategic financial decisions that significantly influence the development and planning of operational budgets.
Compensation Package:
$125k - $135k + 10% Bonus + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, 401(k): 3% company contribution, 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays + 8 sick days.
Relocation Benefits:
$15,000 lump sum for renters, $35,000 for homeowners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise a team of 3 full-time finance professionals.
2. Manage the month-end closing process, including the preparation and coordination of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
3. Oversee annual budgeting processes, including labor and overhead costs, as well as standard product costing.
4. Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports using both traditional and flexible models.
5. Support local Operations and Corporate Finance Teams with operational and financial metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
6. Prepare weekly and monthly financial forecasts.
7. Assist local Engineering and Operations teams with capital project approval requests.
8. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other corporate regulations.
9. Coordinate local product costing, payroll, accounts payable, and fixed asset management.
10. Lead and develop the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Proficient in Excel (including Pivot Tables, V-lookups, SQL Queries).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Accounting.
- Experience with Oracle is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with standard product cost accounting practices.
