About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer Co-op to join our High-Frequency Communication team at RTX. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to promote and implement changes in manufacturing operations, driving quality, cost reduction, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing processes, including equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and workflow.
  • Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems.
  • Review products and processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks and work with design to incorporate changes to eliminate risks.
  • Manage moderately sized projects or processes and independently resolve complex problems.
  • Develop tactical plans to manage day-to-day challenges and collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
What You Will Learn

As an Industrial Engineer Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience with standard work tools and processes, execute CORE certification, and develop communication and collaboration skills. You will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Strong background in Root Cause Analysis and experience with CAD software is preferred.
