Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer Co-op to join our High-Frequency Communication team at Collins Aerospace. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to apply Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to improve manufacturing operations and achieve site goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support manufacturing processes, including equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and workflow.
* Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems.
* Review products and processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks and work with design to eliminate risks.
* Manage moderately sized projects or processes and independently resolve complex problems.
* Develop tactical plans to manage day-to-day challenges and travel to local Iowa regional sites.

Requirements:

* Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
* U.S. citizenship required.

What You Will Learn:

* Industrial engineering concepts and techniques applied to manufacturing operations.
* Standard work tools and processes, including SAP, Engineering drawings, change control board, Solidworks, AutoCAD, eView, PDM, etc.
* Leadership skills and communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits:

* Competitive salary range: $37,000 - $82,000.
