Job Title: Radiology Fellowship Administrator

The University of Virginia Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Fellowship Administrator to join their Medical Education Team. This is a full-time position that requires excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Fellowship Administrator will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the department's fellowship programs, including three ACGME accredited programs. This includes assisting program directors with administrative tasks, supporting training needs of fellows, and ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate fellowship programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Assist program directors with administrative tasks, such as preparing evaluation reports and managing fellowship rotations
  • Ensure compliance with ACGME and program requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Work closely with the Clinical Staff Office and instructors to ensure credentialling and privileges are in order
  • Develop creative options for filling critical trainee positions and developing new sources for filling trainee positions
Requirements:
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Promote a positive work environment
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience. Six years of experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings and programs.
