Mammography Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mammography Technologist II to join our team at Outpatient Imaging Culpeper. As a key member of our imaging center, you will be responsible for performing breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed independent practitioners.
Responsibilities- Perform mammography procedures and related techniques, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Operate Mammography equipment and ancillary equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Mentor and guide other Mammography technologists, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with the Radiology Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent experience.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography.
- State licensure requirement for the state in which you practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
