Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of analytical and administrative duties as an Operations Specialist in support of the organization.
  • Manage staffing processes and track internal and external suspenses and correspondence across designated functional areas.
  • Possess and apply knowledge in planning, risk management, and program analysis to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Ensure timely responses to all tasks received across the organization.
  • Receive technical direction and guidance necessary to meet mission objectives.
  • Assist in defining and documenting processes into standard operating procedures or other written guidelines.
  • Facilitate integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning for various projects and tasks.
  • Initiate, develop, revise, recommend, and ensure the implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and directives under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Identify existing or potential problem areas within operations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Advise and assist higher-level staff concerning assigned programs, briefing preparation, and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and support to organizational leadership, staff, and program managers regarding assigned programs/projects, stakeholder engagements, briefings, and reports.
  • Assist in detailed planning for complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
  • Provide support for risk analysis and track costs, schedules, and performance metrics for various projects and programs.
Technical Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operations support.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint applications.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for advising and supporting leadership and staff.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma; additional years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of 8 years of operations support experience with DoD/PEO/PM organizations.
  • Required certifications in Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Must possess a valid Secret security clearance.
