We are currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Aston Gardens at Pelican Pointe, an Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility. This role offers flexible scheduling options, accommodating both full-time and part-time hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the health and well-being of residents within the community.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to clinical care.
- Maintaining effective communication with physicians, ARNPs, home health providers, residents, and their families.
- Collaborating with the Administrator and team members to ensure the health and safety of residents and staff.
- Working with pharmacy consultants to provide optimal pharmaceutical services.
- Implementing infection control protocols within the community.
The LPN will:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including nebulizers and wound care, in accordance with state regulations.
- Assess residents' ongoing needs and document changes in their health status.
- Coordinate with other departments to review and update service plans as necessary.
- Engage in community outreach and maintain communication with families regarding care changes.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of one year of nursing management experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents and their families.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications.
- A genuine interest in working with the senior population.
