Multifamily Management is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 260-unit garden style residential property in Huntington Station, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HUD experience and a proven track record of managing multi-family residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect rent and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor expenses and ensure spending is within guidelines
  • Maintain tenant files and related documentation
  • Show vacant apartments using professional marketing procedures
  • Address resident concerns in a professional manner
  • Hire, train, and supervise site staff
  • Conduct property inspections
  • Complete income verification to ensure eligibility with government regulations
  • Handle financial operations of the properties
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of project-based section 8 and other affordable housing programs
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Three+ years of multi-family residential management experience, minimum two years of affordable housing experience
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize projects
  • Experience with RealPage OneSite or similar property management software
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
