Chute Repair Service Specialist

Kept Companies is a leading provider of commercial cleaning and maintenance solutions across the nation. We are currently looking for a proficient Service Technician with expertise in chute repair to fill Full-time roles.

In this position, you will take charge of assessing and mending trash, linen, and recycling chutes, along with chute doors, while also addressing scenting requirements for our varied clientele, which includes high-rise buildings, healthcare facilities, and corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and offer repair estimates for client chutes
  • Diagnose and fix chute doors and containers
  • Install new chutes for construction projects
  • Oversee inventory and maintain vehicle condition
  • Document completed repairs for billing purposes
  • Conduct scenting and cart retrieval operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical skills and aptitude
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Competence in utilizing technology
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
  • Welding experience is preferred
  • Prior experience as a service technician is advantageous
