Job Title: Field Service Technician

At USSC Acquisition Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, installing and maintaining safety and survivability solutions, and providing technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of safety and survivability solutions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and customer problems.
  • Offer technical training on our products and services.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive part sales.
  • Document field changes and processes to support future product modifications and warranty claims.
  • Establish service requirements, order components, and gather parts to complete service requests.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports and Sales Force ticket updates.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a technician or equivalent mechanical ability.
  • Automotive or transit experience preferred.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools or other tools.
  • Able to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
  • Able to lift 50lbs and stand for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Flexible regarding working hours and travel.
  • Able to travel extensively, including weekends and overnight.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in current computer software, including MS Applications and ERP systems.
