Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Per Diem Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the use of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, chief, and/or senior technologist.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body parts.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear).
  • And/or: Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) or (RT), preferred.
  • Obtain a CT Registry for PET/CT from American College of Radiology within one year of employment.
  • CPR Certified (BLS).
  • Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients, preferred.
