Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Newton, Massachusetts.

About the Role

This is a per diem / prn position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in ultrasound imaging and be able to operate a variety of equipment to produce diagnostic images.

Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of the abdomen, pelvis, fetus, thyroid, breast, scrotum, prostate, extremities, and vessels.
  • Assist in the diagnosis of disorders and diseases using ultrasound imaging.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in OB/GYN and/or Abdomen, Vascular.
  • One year of clinical experience in General, OB/GYN, Small Parts, and Vascular Imaging.
  • GE and Siemens experience is a plus.
  • CPR certification.
