- Sales and Profitability:
- Drive sales growth through effective merchandise presentation and visual merchandising
- Analyze sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Brand Experience/Customer Service:
- Develop and implement customer loyalty programs to increase retention rates
- Ensure store team delivers exceptional customer service through active listening and prompt issue resolution
- Talent Management:
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the store team
- Identify areas for improvement and develop training plans to address skill gaps
- Operations & Inventory:
- Manage inventory levels and optimize stockroom space to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail environment
- Proven track record of improving sales and profitability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred but not required
- At least 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced, high volume retail environment
- Experience in a specialty retail environment, outdoor apparel industry or experience with outdoor equipment sales preferred
