Job Title: Senior RF Engineer

C Squared Systems LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior RF Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing wireless communication systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the commissioning, integration, and activation of various cellular systems.
  • Perform system tests using advanced electronic test equipment, including tech phones, RF scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and more.
  • Provide customer-facing support, including site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure timely and accurate project updates.
  • Work closely with system components, such as antennas, fiber optics, coax, and RF amplifiers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems to ensure optimal performance, including identifying and resolving external noise interference, PIM interference, and OTDR testing.
  • Apply RF principles and theory to ensure signal path, radio frequency power, frequency bands, system noise, modulation types, and more are optimized.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Participate in monthly meetings to review project profitability and business unit results.
  • Travel to various job sites within Maryland and surrounding regions, including DC, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
  • Be available for occasional night shifts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, with a master's degree or minor in business preferred.
  • 4+ years of related experience, with a focus on DAS architecture and cellular systems.
  • Ability to pass building-specific background checks to access various buildings.
  • Fiber splicing knowledge is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, including 4G LTE, 5G, 5G-NR, and more.
  • Excellent technical aptitude and a desire to learn and advance in a technical field.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of RF optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Proactive in formulating policies for review by executive management.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
