Dewberry is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Engineer/Manager to join its Land Development operation.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multi-discipline team designing and developing construction plans for site civil/infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of engineers and technicians in the design and development of construction plans for site civil/infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers and agency staff to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Prepare and coordinate all Land Development design aspects, including design work, plan and permit processing, and construction phase services.
  • Manage project budgets and oversee construction document preparation and technical reports.
  • Ensure quality control/quality assurance in the delivery of a quality design product.
  • Establish milestones and completion dates for projects and monitor progress for final evaluation of results.
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PE in the state of Maryland preferred.
  • Ten (10) plus years of experience directly related to the design and execution of land development projects in Frederick, Maryland, greater Baltimore, MD, and Washington, DC metro area preferred.
  • Strong technical capabilities in various software applications, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
