The Floating Assistant will work with our classroom team to provide support and coverage as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a prepared learning environment according to the Montessori Scope & Sequence\
  • Assist in planning and implementing the Montessori classroom\
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents\
  • Provide support to students and teachers as needed\
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field\
  • Experience working with diverse populations of students and families\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
  • Fluency in a language other than English is a plus\

Compensation and Benefits:

\

We offer a competitive salary range of $38,500 - $50,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options.
