Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Lead to oversee the efficient operation of our kitchen at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing menu additions, training staff, and ensuring product availability for all restaurant or banquet items.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and enhance existing ones to meet the high standards of our guests.
- Staff Training: Provide comprehensive training to our kitchen staff on new menu items, procedures, and best practices to ensure seamless execution.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory management to prevent stockouts and overstocking, minimizing waste and optimizing product availability.
- Sanitation and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
- Daily Operations: Conduct daily meetings with servers and kitchen staff to discuss menu additions, operational concerns, and ensure a smooth service.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with our Front of the House Manager and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Quality Control: Maintain and enforce high standards of food quality and visual appeal, ensuring that every dish meets our guests' expectations.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to push up to 500 lbs. and lift up to 70 lbs., with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
- Culinary Skills: Proficiency in a wide range of cooking techniques and menu planning to meet the diverse needs of our guests.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills and organizational abilities to manage inventory, schedules, and other kitchen operations.
- Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on providing excellent service to our guests.
