About the Role

The Culinary Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen area. This role reports directly to the Executive Chef and is essential in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of kitchen staff with respect and commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control: Ensure that all food preparation is in compliance with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors, and drains.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in monthly inventory for department of responsibility.
  • Safety and Compliance: Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and regulations, complete company-wide safety training, and additional job-specific safety training.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical or culinary training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Certifications: Food Handler's certification.
  • Skills: Leadership, time management, team work, inventory management, communication.
  • Behaviors: Team player, leader, innovative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented.
  • Motivations: Ability to make an impact, self-starter.
