Position Overview

* This role is contingent upon contract award.

The Medical Administrator is tasked with the stabilization of patients and the coordination of their evacuation to medical facilities. The General Surgeon will oversee preoperative, operative, and postoperative patient management, ensuring a U.S. standard of care in our treatment model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document all patient care and follow-up requirements.
  • Engage in meetings and task forces aimed at enhancing quality and outcomes, addressing issues, securing approvals, and staying informed on new developments and policy changes.
  • Uphold patient dignity and adhere to the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
  • Actively participate in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Possession of a Common Access Card (CAC) or ability to obtain one.
  • Fluency in English for effective communication.
  • U.S. Department of State clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Willingness to relocate as necessary.
  • A valid passport is required and must be maintained throughout the assignment.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in a military setting or as a government contractor is preferred.
  • Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least six months within the past year is required.
Educational Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a general surgery residency in the United States.
  • U.S. or Canadian Board Certification.
  • Current unrestricted U.S. (State) medical license.
  • Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Completion of Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training.
