  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff members on activity programming, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality services to our residents.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with activity programming and events.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, dietary, and housekeeping, to ensure that activity programming is integrated into the overall care plan for each resident.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activity programming, including resident participation and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting.
  • Certification: Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) or eligible for certification.
