About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Workforce Planning Strategist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that drive business growth and success.

Your primary focus will be on working closely with senior leaders across the organization to create one-year and three-year workforce plans that align with our operational cycles. You will leverage your deep knowledge of workforce planning methodologies, data sources, and practices to invent, evolve, improve, and simplify our workforce planning processes.

Key responsibilities will include driving large-scale workforce planning efforts that solve complex problems, consistently bringing strong, data-driven business and technical judgment to decisions, and advocating for and guiding workforce programs. You will also be responsible for capturing the right metrics to influence stakeholders and measure success.

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong track record of leading workforce planning teams and solving complex problems. You will have a Master's degree in statistics, engineering, I/O psychology, mathematics, economics, or a related field, and a strong commitment to exceptional customer experience.
