Audit Compliance Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Compliance Assurance Manager to join our team at Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group, Inc.
About the PositionThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in audit and a strong background in accounting principles. The role involves leading the compliance assurance and reporting team (CART) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. This is an internal, non-client-facing position that requires exceptional organizational skills, initiative, and effective communication.
Responsibilities- Participate in management team discussions and contribute to best accounting practices.
- Train and coach Tri Star Controllers on policy, procedure, and industry developments.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance company standards.
- Liaise with Human Resources to maintain Tri Star Academy's integrity.
- Assist in training development and education of accounting teams.
- Oversee financial reporting packages within required deadlines.
- Establish ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.
- Ensure client budgets and monthly budget-to-actual reporting are accurate and timely.
- Support annual insurance renewals and risk mitigation efforts.
- Facilitate the annual financial statement review for tax deliverables.
- Act as liaison between tax manager and provide necessary data for tax returns.
- Manage the monthly commission process.
- Identify issues and concerns, communicate solutions to management, and proactively address risks to Tri Star.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in a major company or division of a large corporation.
- Extensive knowledge in audit and experience in family office, entertainment, legal firms preferred.
- CPA or CMA designation, required.
Based on location and industry standards, the estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum. The actual salary offered will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education.
