We are seeking a seasoned Vice President to join our Global Industrials team, focusing on the Aviation, Aerospace & Defense sector. This role is based in our New York office and is pivotal in driving our advisory and capital markets initiatives.
GROUP INSIGHT:
The Jefferies Global Industrials Group offers comprehensive advisory and capital market services across various industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Business Services, Capital Goods, Chemicals, Construction, and more. Our team consists of around 100 professionals located in major financial hubs worldwide.
The Aviation & Aerospace division in New York specializes in mergers and acquisitions, as well as capital raising advisory, primarily targeting the commercial aerospace supply chain, aviation services, and aircraft leasing sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and delivering client presentations with a focus on strategic insights.
- Conducting detailed financial analyses, including valuations and operational modeling.
- Evaluating business strategies and engaging in comprehensive due diligence.
- Creating marketing materials for private and public offerings.
- Leading collaborative drafting sessions.
- Preparing and overseeing internal deal documentation.
- Mentoring junior team members and collaborating with sector teams to identify business opportunities.
- Engaging directly with senior management of client organizations, participating in meetings, and fostering client relationships.
- Managing multiple projects concurrently with cross-functional teams, including product partners in various financial sectors.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Investment Banking, preferably within an Aviation, Aerospace, and Defense context.
- An MBA or equivalent advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant Investment Banking experience.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- A proven team player with leadership capabilities.
- Willingness to reside in New York or relocate as necessary.
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
