Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President to join our Latin America Coverage Group in New York. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of the LatAM Group and other Managing Directors to execute equity and M&A advisory mandates, debt financings, and restructuring and recapitalization transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of complex financial transactions, including equity and M&A advisory mandates, debt financings, and restructuring and recapitalization transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including senior executive management teams.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis, including financial valuation, discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies' analyses.
  • Prepare high-quality pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Native Spanish fluency.
  • Familiarity with the business and capital markets environment in Latin America.
  • MBA with 3+ years of investment banking experience or an Undergraduate degree with 5+ years of investment banking experience.
  • Excellent financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and accounting skills/knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
