Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to contribute to our team at Family Vision Care in Franklin, TN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-testing procedures for patients, including Optomap and auto-refractor assessments.
  • Accurately record patient medical and ocular history, as well as visual acuities.
  • Enter patient data into electronic medical records and perform visual field and OCT testing.
  • Train new contact lens wearers and manage contact lens trial inventory.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an ophthalmic technician or in the optometric field is required.
  • Knowledge of Eyefinity is a plus.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
