Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical guidance to the production floor for both new and existing products manufactured by the division.
  • Create and sustain programs for a diverse range of CNC machinery.
  • Conduct setup, part loading, and validation of all programs prior to handing over to production operations.
  • Ensure CNC manufacturing processes (including Machining, Laser, EDM) and tooling meet customer, organizational, and regulatory standards.
  • Interpret and utilize complex drawings and models effectively.
  • Analyze dimensions, flag notes, process requirements, and material specifications from technical drawings.
  • Develop and implement inspection methodologies and procedures utilizing machine probing.
  • Examine, assess, and resolve issues related to product non-conformance.
  • Monitor production efficiency to identify potential program enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams in addressing customer Request for Quotes (RFQs).
  • Work closely with sales, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to support technical requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in programming and operating CNC machines within a manufacturing environment, ideally in aerospace component production using materials such as titanium, Inconel, and carbon fiber, as well as tools made from aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
  • Experience with laser and EDM operations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CAD and CAM software is essential; familiarity with NX is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Well-developed analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards proficiently.
  • Competence with computer systems, including basic software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capacity to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to established deadlines.
  • Experience with quality management systems, internal audits, NADCAP, and AS9100 is a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate degree or relevant vocational training certifications.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually
