CNC Machinist Position

This position involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC controllers, interpreting blueprints, and producing quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Run existing CNC programs, set up and verify new programs for newly developed products, and monitor tool wear and adjust offsets as needed.
2. Set up, adjust, and perform operations with close tolerance and finish requirements on standardized parts, monitoring the feed/speed of machines during the machining process.
3. Use blueprints, gauges, precision, and torque measuring devices to effectively machine parts and ensure conformance to quality specifications.
4. Conduct pre and post inspection on all machined parts and perform preventive maintenance as required.
5. Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes as necessary.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); technical school desirable. 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use a computer/tablet/keyboard. Experience using hand tools. Experience with CNC controllers, interpreting blueprints, and producing quality parts.
Working Conditions:
This position requires working in a loud environment with varying temperatures, maintaining close attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, lift, bend, slide, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, wipe, stretch, reach above shoulder height, and below waist. May be required to work with chemicals. Must be able to perform safe execution of repetitive motions, including repetitively lifting/carrying tools and assemblies weighing up to 60 lbs.
