Position Summary

If so, a role in Recreation programming at Marriott Vacations Worldwide could be an excellent fit for you. You will have the chance to actively engage with our Owners and guests, while experiencing our commitment to the well-being of our team members.

As a Recreation Coordinator, your role will involve promoting the resort's recreational offerings and amenities to guests of all ages (including trivia games, poolside activities, and educational experiences such as food tastings and local storytelling). Your duties will also encompass encouraging guest participation in activities, managing equipment, and facilitating events. To ensure we deliver exceptional service, your responsibilities will include interacting with guests in a warm and welcoming manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures; ensure that uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; safeguard company assets.
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service requirements; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer phone calls with appropriate etiquette.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; collaborate with the team to achieve shared objectives.
  • Process payments for rental equipment, recreational activities, facility rentals, or retail transactions.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; move, lift, or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Execute other reasonable job duties as assigned.
