We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sponsored Research Contracting and Compliance Analyst to join our team at the San Diego State University Research Foundation. As a key member of our Sponsored Research Contracting and Compliance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the foundation's mission by providing effective award negotiations, initiating the subcontracting process for sponsored programs, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Review and process award agreements and prior authorizations to verify completion of SDSU compliance requirements
- Prepare and draft subagreements and amendments for review and signature using approved templates
- Ensure all relevant compliance is in place or seek approval to deviate from established processes and procedures
- Assist the Director in reviewing and implementing procedures related to award processing and subagreement preparation
- Completion of sufficient college coursework to successfully perform the required duties of the position and two years of progressively responsible related experience
- Two years of progressively responsible experience in an institution of higher education, research institution, or non-profit organization, or related contract review experience
