Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Life Director to lead our student life program. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various student life events, fostering a vibrant and engaging campus environment, and providing leadership to student life leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead a team of approximately 20 student life leaders
  • Organize 4-5 student life events per semester, including worship nights, skate nights, food outings, themed parties, and intramural sports events
  • Plan and lead student intramural sports events
  • Oversee the daily life and activities within the campus lobby
  • Serve as a key team player in assisting with major Victory Church events
  • Potentially serve in a chaplain role to the students and help oversee the student chaplain program
  • Continue growing and building the culture of community on campus, including in Student Housing
  • Assist in general recruitment, including high school campus visits and other outreach efforts
  • Possibly lead Fall and Spring Break travel teams for student missions and outreach
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute events effectively
  • Experience in student life or event management is preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Essential Job Functions
  • Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk working close-up tasks primarily on a computer in an environmentally controlled office
  • Able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
  • Proficient in oral and written communications
  • Proficient in participation or leading in-person and online meetings
  • Periods of speaking for longer periods of time while teaching
