Front Desk Receptionist

Commonpoint Queens is a vibrant community hub dedicated to promoting fitness and fun through tennis and pickleball and athletic field sports. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
Job Summary:We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests and members. If you have a passion for sports, excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and assist members and guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding facility hours, class schedules, and membership information.
- Manage court reservations and schedule lessons or events using our booking system.
- Process membership applications, payments, and renewals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Promote upcoming events, classes, and special offers to members.
- Collaborate with the coaching staff and management to ensure a smooth operation.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a sports or recreation environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using booking software.
- Physical demands: Frequently stands, walks, sits, uses hands, talks, hears, reaches, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels.
- Passion for tennis and/or pickleball is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
