Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at the New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, taking messages, and handling mail and packages.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of client care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Office Manager and Program Administrator.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of reception experience in a fast-paced office, preferably in medical or community mental health.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure outpatient client environment.
Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour. Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
