Position Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, evaluation, and integration of facilities dedicated to modern energetic materials and Solid Rocket Motor production. Collaborating with a diverse group of professionals, you will ensure that project requirements are fulfilled, issues are addressed, and that both hardware and control systems are effectively implemented. Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to identify and tackle challenges, achieve project deadlines, and maintain high standards of environmental and safety compliance.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in the design, evaluation, and testing of energetic materials and chemical processing environments
  • Skilled in creating custom tooling and fixtures
  • Proficient in assessing and utilizing various industrial machinery
  • 5+ years of experience with Solidworks CAD software
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical capabilities for stress, fluid dynamics, thermal, and electrical simulations
  • Proven skills in electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Must qualify as a US Person in accordance with ITAR regulations
