As a Guest Services Coordinator, you serve as the first point of interaction for all visitors. Your role is essential in ensuring a pleasant experience from the moment guests arrive. Responsibilities include warmly greeting patrons, providing accurate wait times, and guiding them to their designated tables. Your exceptional organizational skills will be vital in managing seating arrangements and facilitating communication with the entire team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival
- Guide guests to their tables and present menus
- Manage the waitlist and communicate accurate wait times
- Assign tables to servers in an efficient manner
- Coordinate seating arrangements within the dining area
- Work collaboratively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain a clean and organized host station
- Assist servers as needed during busy periods
- Provide detailed information about menu offerings and restaurant services
- Complete side tasks during quieter times, such as cleaning menus and preparing silverware
- Express appreciation to guests and encourage their return visits
