Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist in Tacoma, Washington.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, learning, cognitive-communication, swallowing, and fluency disorders. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress.
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum 9 months of experience as a clinical Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Speech-Language Pathologist License (Washington) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
- 5+ years of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Certification.
- Expert level of competence in FEES, videofluoroscopy, videostroboscopy, American Sign Language, PROMPT, and accent modification.
The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
