About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Director of Nursing for the Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and staff engagement.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Current registration in nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • MSN or DNP or PhD, or a BSN with a Master's degree in a related field, required.
  • Current certification required or to be attained within two-year period from 10-1-18 or from date of hire after 10-1-18.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in nursing administration within an academic medical center, preferred.
