Interventional Radiology Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities:- Provide competent, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications, including moderate sedation, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competence and stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and technologies.
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care, ICU, or procedural experience.
- Good clinical background in pulmonology preferred.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient care environment, with exposure to some radiation during fluoroscopy procedures. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
