Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Interventional Radiology department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including pre-procedural assessment, administration of moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring during diagnostic and interventional procedures, and post-procedural recovery and teaching.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Rotate into the role of resource nurse after 6 months in the department, helping to coordinate same day and inpatient procedures.
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.
- 23 years ICU, critical care, ED, or procedural experience required.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in the area of nursing practice predominant on the unit.
- Good clinical background in pulmonology preferred.
