Job Summary:

As a Laboratory Assistant Phlebotomist PRN Rotating, you will perform routine technical and clerical functions, including venipuncture, specimen receipt, and distribution of laboratory specimens. You may also perform CLIA waived laboratory tests under supervision.

Responsibilities:

Perform specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens
Label tubes and specimen containers
Collect specimens and perform simple tests under supervision
Perform phlebotomist duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to complete blood draws independently within six weeks of hire
Preferred: Completion of a phlebotomy program or 6 months of laboratory experience
