Job Title: Phlebotomist

At Royalty Hospitality Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Phlebotomist to assist in performing various assigned duties, including trouble shooting, training, and making workflow recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
  • Properly explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection to patients.
  • Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
  • Fully understand physicians' orders and match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
  • Package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperature.
  • Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
  • Attend annual department trainings and answer telephone calls.
Requirements
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience.
