Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Operations Supervisor to join our team at Brick Staffing, LLC. This role is crucial for overseeing construction projects and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of mentorship across all trades and workforce levels within the organization.
  • Identify and implement necessary corrective actions promptly.
  • Develop a comprehensive 'Master Plan' for each project.
  • Oversee the execution and maintenance of the Construction Project Management Information System (CPMI).
  • Plan and schedule daily and weekly work activities effectively.
  • Manage the requisition and accountability of tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor and assess the performance and quality of work conducted by subcontractors and major equipment suppliers.
  • Coordinate inspections required by regulatory bodies and maintain positive relationships with inspectors.
  • Review and update Labor Hours and Job Costs Reports weekly with project management.
  • Enhance project outcomes through strategic field planning, CADD, organization, and scheduling, while upholding quality and safety standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules and resource allocation, providing updates as necessary.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all project activities in accordance with company standards.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and leadership to field personnel, participating in company training initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate cost coding of time cards daily, reviewing and forwarding them to the corporate office as required.
  • Facilitate efficient project closeout processes, including punch list completion, owner training, and archiving project records.

  • Skilled in negotiating complex issues with senior management.
  • Involved in the development and execution of business strategies.
  • Capable of making impactful decisions affecting extensive company activities.
  • Exhibits creativity, foresight, and sound judgment in planning and managing significant programs.
  • Experience managing diverse teams and individuals.
  • Expertise in the field with over 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Educational background: Master's degree or equivalent experience.

Mid-Level Construction Operations Supervisor

  • Independent decision-making authority.
  • Responsible for a specific department or functional area.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key personnel across departments.
  • Capable of making decisions that significantly impact company operations.
  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in addressing complex challenges.

  • Specialist expertise with at least 10 years of experience, including fiscal responsibilities.
  • Educational background: College degree or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate stairs, ladders, and scaffolds while carrying tools and equipment.
  • Visual acuity (with or without correction).
  • Capability to manipulate and install heavy materials and objects.
  • Physical agility to perform various tasks including lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights ranging from 21 to 35 lbs occasionally, and 13 to 21 lbs frequently.
