**Job Description**
The Lead Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring seamless operations within our funeral homes. This includes managing various activities such as answering phones, bookkeeping, data entry, scheduling, and secretarial services.
**Responsibilities:**
- Promote effective communication among home office staff, location leaders, and funeral directors
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, tracking, and delivering products and documents
- Support administrative assistants, location leaders, and funeral directors to complete tasks efficiently
- Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping
- Coordinate funeral service delivery items, ensuring professionalism and promptness
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in business preferred
- Three to five years of office and customer service experience in the funeral industry preferred
- One year of leadership experience preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
