Adjunct Professor in Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine

Position Overview:
The Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (ISCBRM) is seeking exceptional candidates for a full-time role at the rank of Adjunct Professor within the University Tenure line.
Research Focus:
The ISCBRM emphasizes the significance of fundamental biomedical research alongside the advancement of translational applications in the expansive domain of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.
Candidate Profile:
We are particularly interested in individuals whose research encompasses single-cell methodologies, in vivo manipulation of cellular characteristics, and the mechanisms of immunologic recognition and tolerance in stem cell biology.

The primary criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a profound dedication to research and education. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated, or show potential for, exceptional scholarship.
Teaching Responsibilities:
The successful applicant is expected to exhibit the capability to maintain a high-quality teaching program throughout their tenure.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a PhD and/or MD, complemented by a postdoctoral fellowship in the field of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. Completion of housestaff training (if applicable) and one to two years of postdoctoral research experience is also required. Candidates should have distinguished themselves as innovative and promising researchers during their graduate and postdoctoral training.
Teaching Experience:
While formal teaching experience is preferred, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to developing teaching skills during their postdoctoral training.
Research Program Development:
We anticipate that the successful candidate will establish a dynamic and pioneering research program while also mentoring trainees, including graduate students, as part of the Institute's Interdisciplinary PhD Training Program in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine.
