We are currently seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will support the SYSCOM Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) in a hybrid capacity, requiring three days of in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial and accounting support for FMS programs, assisting the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and Business Financial Manager.
- Conduct managerial and cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, and financial analyses to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
- Assist in the development of acquisition documentation for FMS products and services.
- Utilize Navy ERP for financial execution and MISIL for tracking commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
- Support various management activities, corporate initiatives, and special projects that significantly impact organizational operations.
- Analyze budget marks and their implications.
Essential Duties:
- Analyze data from financial systems such as MISIL, DSAMS, SCIP, and Navy ERP.
- Prepare financial reports, ledgers, and tracking logs.
- Provide recommendations to prevent over-obligation or over-expenditure of FMS cases.
- Conduct financial and risk analyses to identify and evaluate potential financial risks.
- Reconcile FMS cases using MISIL and DIFS.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS degree (Journeyman level).
- Experience: 3 to 10 years in relevant financial management roles.
- Desired: Minimum of four years of professional experience in DoD FMS financial management, with a strong understanding of FMS case development and execution.
- Familiarity with Navy ERP, DSAMS, and other financial systems is essential.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
