Job Description

Synectic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support our NAVAIR customer in Patuxent River, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial management support, including development of pre-case pricing data, preparation and execution of financial documents, and providing financial analysis of FMS, potential FMS, and ICDP programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial management support, including development of pre-case pricing data, preparation and execution of financial documents, and providing financial analysis of FMS, potential FMS, and ICDP programs.
  • Develop estimates for Price and Availability (P&A), Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), and provide recommendations for the development of P&A data.
  • Input data into the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) for P&As, LOAs, Amendments, and Modifications.
  • Negotiate sensitive financial issues with stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • May travel to potential foreign customer countries to provide program and financial management support and assistance for site surveys, meetings, and reviews.
Requirements:
  • At least three (3) years financial management experience, two (2) of which must be within FMS is required.
  • BA/BS degree is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, and a Secret security clearance must be obtained and maintained.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) policies and Navy regulations as set forth in the SAMM, DoD M is desired.
