Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role is integral to our hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of office and remote work.
Location:
Portland, OR
Key Responsibilities:
- Design structural systems from initial concepts to construction administration across various building types.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and calculations for structural building systems.
- Provide construction administration services and collaborate effectively with architectural and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5-10 years of experience in building structural engineering, including concrete, masonry, steel, and wood materials.
- Proficient in current structural software such as ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, and Enercalc.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Structural Engineer (SE) or in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Interest in sustainable building design and experience with BIM, particularly Autodesk Revit.
