Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Loop Neighborhood. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supporting the Convenience Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including training, coaching, and leading a team of store staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and coach new store staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Assist in creating schedules and managing timekeeping systems to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Maintain a clean and professional store environment, including stocking products and ensuring the store is well-organized.
  • Forecast, order, stock, and merchandise product to meet customer demand and maximize sales.
  • Reconcile store paperwork promptly and accurately to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and customer-friendly environment in the store and surrounding property.
  • Assist with management of store staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve car wash-related issues and gas-related issues, such as drive-offs and pumps being down.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six to nine months experience as an Assistant Manager or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong mathematics ability and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Desire to be part of a performance-driven team and reliable transportation.
Employee Incentives
  • Employees who are with us for 6 months to 3 years receive 0.10 cents off per gallon of fuel.
  • Employees who are with us for 3 to 5 years receive 0.30 cents off per gallon of fuel.
  • Employees who are with us for 5+ years receive 0.40 cents off per gallon of fuel.
  • Maximum 20 gallons and 2 fill-ups per week.
Physical Requirements

The Assistant Store Manager position requires constant standing, bending, and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1 to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds are required.

  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week.
